What service does Hampickerson provide?
Hampickerson will go through any cluttered area in your home (attic, garage, basement, etc) and sell your unwanted items that hold value on platforms like eBay & Amazon.
How much will this cost me upfront?
Nothing! Hampickerson works off a fee structure and gets paid when you get paid.
What is your fee structure?
Hampickerson pays it’s customer 75% of profit after fees & shipping costs are accounted for. Most platforms have fees associated with each sale (example: eBay takes 12.2% per sale). Shipping costs vary based on weight, size, and destination.
How do I know when my item sells?
You will receive an automated email with a description of the item that sold and a breakdown of all costs and fees, including your payout & Hampickerson’s payout.
How can I view my items listed?
Hampickerson’s store will have a section labeled where only your items are viewable. This can give you an idea of what is still available (to share with friends & family) and what profit will eventually be headed your way! When everything is listed, an email will be sent with the link to the store.
What if I decide I don’t want to sell my item?
No problem at all! Hampickerson will take the listing down immediately and deliver or ship the item at no cost to the customer. If the item is shipped, an email will be sent provided the tracking number for the package.
When can I expect payment?
If the customer has a Venmo account, Hampickerson will send payment within 1 business day for each item sold. If the customer would prefer a check or does not use Venmo, Hampickerson will send a check monthly with each item sold in that month included. A breakdown of what is being paid out will be sent in an email.
What if I do not want to wait for all of my items to sell?
When Hampickerson appraises the items the day of the visit, we will provide an estimate of expected profit when each item is sold individually on eBay, as well as a bulk buyout price. The bulk buyout would be paid for on the day of the visit and the items will be sold to Hampickerson. The expected eBay profit will always be higher than the bulk buyout price, but the buyout is a good option for customers who would rather get paid immediately.
